Teen, man shot in St Andrew gun attack have died

Two of the four persons who were shot in the St Andrew Central Police Division on Sunday have succumbed to their injuries.

Dead is 17-year-old Rushawn Rowe, otherwise called 'Papa', who was a student at Gaynstead High School and of a Harriman Close, Kingston 6 address.

The other deceased is yet to be identified.

The two other injured persons remain in hospital.

The police say so far they are yet to establish a motive for the shooting.

The police report that about 7:40 p.m., the persons were travelling on motorcycles along a roadway in the division when they were shot.

They were assisted to hospital, where they were admitted for injuries received.

The Matilda's Corner Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the incident.
