23-year-old man charged for cousin’s murder in St Elizabeth
A 23-year-old man has been charged for the fatal stabbing of his cousin during a dispute in St Elizabeth.
He is Romane Deenwell, otherwise called 'Chineyman', a farmer of Donegal district in Brighton.
He is accused of killing Onandi Bell, alias “Nandi”, 22, a construction worker/ labourer of Compton district in the parish.
The police report that on the morning of April 17, the cousins were involved in a dispute when the accused allegedly used a sharp instrument to stab Bell.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Deenwell was subsequently arrested and later charged with murder.
