The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists to exercise caution over the next three days as they navigate Cumberland Boulevard in Portmore, St Catherine.

Manager, Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, says starting on today some 150 metres of roadway will be impacted.

Contractors working on the project will continue the process of laying storm water drainage along the corridor, which is expected to be completed on Saturday, May 17.

The public is being advised to obey warning signs and the instructions of flag- persons.

The road works on Cumberland Boulevard form part of the $925-million Grange Lane Improvement Project, which is expected to be completed in September.

Shaw says among the works to be done are the erection of bus bays, sidewalk installation, the widening of the road from two to four lanes, laying of new waterlines and the installation of traffic signals.
