Taxi operator charged for murdering, burying security guard remanded
The taxi operator charged in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found in a shallow grave was remanded when he appeared before the St Catherine Parish Court today.
Paul Drummond, 35, is charged with murder, accessory after the fact, conspiracy, and unlawful burial of a dead body.
He was ordered to return to court on June 12.
Drummond is charged in relation to the death of 34-year-old security guard Kevon Anderson.
Allegations are that the accused was seen in the company of the deceased.
Anderson was last seen alive on May 1 in his community.
He never returned home and a missing person report was later filed.
An investigation was launched and Anderson's body was found in the shallow grave on May 9.
Drummond was later arrested and subsequently charged following an investigation.
