Three men arrested following gun and ammunition seizure in St James

Three men were arrested in St James following the seizure of a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver and a magazine containing seven rounds of ammunition on Tuesday.
The seizure was made by the St James police during a joint police-military operation in Black Pipe, Rose Heights, in the parish.
The police say about 6 a.m., they conducted a search in a two bedroom apartment at the mentioned address and the weapon was found on top of a refrigerator.
They say the three male occupants who were seen in the apartment were taken into custody.
Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
