The Kingston and St Andrew Health Department is investigating the suspected food poisoning of 14 members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force at a training in the Corporate Area.

The police personnel consumed the meals following an exercise on Thursday, confirmed Dr Susan Strachan-Johnson, the senior medical officer of health at the department.

"The good thing is that nobody is admitted. Everybody is recovering," she told The Gleaner on Friday evening.

Shortly after consuming the meals, the cops reported vomiting and diarrhoea.

They were rushed to a medical facility, treated and sent home, Strachan-Johnson said.

More details later.
