Two female wards of the state missing from place of safety in Stony Hill

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Elizabeth Barrett or Annakay Whyte is asked to contact the Stony Hill police at 876-942-2223, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.

The police are seeking the public's assistance to locate two female wards of the state who have been missing from the Homestead Place of Safety in Stony Hill, St Andrew, since Friday. 

They are 18-year-old Elizabeth Barrett and 16-year-old Annakay Whyte.

Elizabeth is of slim build, dark complexion and is about 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Annakay is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Elizabeth and Annakay reportedly left the facility at about 6:45 a.m. on Friday and never returned, the police said in a statement on Saturday. 

All subsequent attempts to contact them have failed.

When last seen, Elizabeth was wearing a white blouse, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

She was also carrying a multi-coloured bag.

Annakay was wearing her uniform—a light blue blouse and a navy blue skirt, with a red tie and black shoes.
