Policeman gunned down in Manchester

A policeman was fatally shot in Manchester on Tuesday night.
He has been identified as Constable Mario Thomas.
It is reported that about 10 p.m., Thomas, who was reportedly on interdiction, was at a bar in Breezy Hill with a group of men when a gunman entered and opened fire at him.
The cop ran and was chased by the gunmen who continued to fire.
He was killed and his attacker escaped.
The incident is being investigated by the police.
