The Cable & Wireless Charitable Foundation (CWCF) has partnered with World Central Kitchen (WCK) to help support communities across the Caribbean. WCK, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation, provides food relief in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises, and the partnership is focusing on delivering food to communities affected by Hurricane Beryl. WCK has so far delivered over 30,000 meals to those most impacted by the hurricane in St Elizabeth, Manchester, and Clarendon. In other Caribbean territories, the CWCF is investing US$75,000 to support current initiatives under way to deliver fresh meals in St Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada. Here a WCK volunteer distributes food in Alligator Pond, St Elizabeth, on Friday, July 12.
