Minor quake felt in Jamaica on Monday

A very minor earthquake of magnitude 2.9 was felt in Jamaica on Monday afternoon.

The Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, Mona, says the epicentre was located approximately 10 kilometres southwest of Buff Bay, Portland.

It was reported as felt at 3:51 p.m. It was felt in Mavis Bank, St Andrew.
