Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, founder, Pocket Rocket Foundation, shares a joyful moment with Akeelah Mowatt (left), Ahzara Brown (centre), and Antwan Ellis (right) as they proudly display their goodie bags during the foundation’s fourth annual back-to-school treat in Ewarton, St Catherine, on August 30. The two-day initiative, which started in Waterhouse, Kingston, on August 29, was supported by sponsors Grace Foods, Excelsior Jamaica, and Nike. Over 500 children received essential school supplies preparing them for the new academic year. The back-to-school treat is a key part of the foundation’s mission to empower youth and support education in communities across Jamaica.
