60 rounds of ammunition seized in Olympic Gardens, men arrested

The St Andrew South police on Saturday seized 60 rounds of ammunition and a gun and arrested three men during an operation in Olympic Gardens.
They are being held on suspicion of possession of prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition.
Reports are that about 12:50 p.m. the police team conducted an operation along Balcolme Drive in the area and carried out a search.
During the search, the weapon and the large quantity of ammunition were seized.
The three men were arrested in connection with the discovery.
Detectives assigned to the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch are probing the matter.
