Security guard charged for allegedly stealing cellular phones from store in St Mary
The St Mary police have charged 38-year-old security guard Ramonda Beecher, otherwise called 'Rome', with shopbreaking and larceny.
The Port Maria police say about 5:30 p.m. on November 5, a man locked his business establishment located on a plaza in Highgate and left. However, upon his return he realised that a glass window was smashed.
Checks were made within the store and he found that a number of cellular phones were missing.
A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched.
During the investigation, Beecher was arrested.
He was charged on November 9.
