Minor earthquake in Jamaica

The earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 3.0.

The Earthquake Unit is reporting that a minor quake rocked a section of Jamaica this afternoon.

The earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 and was located approximately 11 km southeast of Annotto Bay, St Mary.

The quake, which had a depth of 17 km, struck at 4:22.

It was reportedly felt in Brandon Hill, St Andrew.
