KFC opens new restaurant in Christiana

Restaurants of Jamaica (ROJ) opened the doors to its newest restaurant location, in Christiana, Manchester, on Sunday, November 24.

The investment of approximately $220 million to construct the new restaurant marks a significant milestone in the brand’s continued expansion across Jamaica, creating 40 new jobs and boosting the local economy. With this new addition, KFC’s restaurant network grows to 41 locations islandwide, a release detailed.

Andrei Roper, marketing manager at Restaurants of Jamaica, expressed his excitement for the new Christiana location, stating, “We are delighted to bring the finger lickin’ good KFC experience to the vibrant community of Christiana and surrounding areas such as Spalding, which will also benefit. We are especially excited to create job opportunities for residents in and around the area. Our expansion into Christiana is a testament to our commitment to investing in local communities and in making our delicious meals accessible to Jamaicans everywhere. We are very excited to become an integral part of the Christiana community and already, the response and the welcome that we have received have been overwhelming.”

Roper added, “Our expansion into Christiana further highlights our commitment to making our iconic meals accessible to more customers across Jamaica. Our mission is to make every resident feel like they are a big deal when they enter the restaurant.”

The Christiana location is the 27th restaurant outside of the Kingston Metropolitan Area.
