The management of the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona is advising that all operations are being suspended for today due to disruption in water supply.

However, this does not apply to examinations and emergency operations.

All examinations will therefore proceed as scheduled.

Provisions are being made to provide adequate water supply to all examination centres.

The UWI says it is making alternative arrangements to supply the campus until water is restored.

It says it will advise later today as to the resumption of normal operations.
