Curfew imposed in section of Grants Pen, St Andrew

The 48-hour curfew has been imposed in a section of Grants Pen, St Andrew.

The police say the curfew began 6:00 p.m.on Thursday and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

North: From the intersection of Grants Pen Road and Barbican Road to the intersection of Essex Avenue and Barbican Road, Kingston 8, about 500 meters.

East: From the intersection of Essex Avenue and Barbican Road to Lot 13 Essex Avenue Kingston 8, St Andrew, about 135 meters .

South: From Lot 13 Essex Avenue along Essex Avenue with an imaginary line 5a East Dulwich Drive, Kingston 8, St Andrew, about 450 meters.

West: From 5a East Dulwich Drive to the intersection of Grants Pen Road and Barbican Road, Kingston 8, about 180 meters.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
