St Elizabeth mechanic charged for stealing $500,000 from house

A St Elizabeth mechanic has been charged for breaking into a house and stealing $500,000.

Charged with house break-in and larceny is 26-year-old Marlon Reid, otherwise called 'Nerd', of Pepper district.

According to the police, about 5:21 p.m. on Monday, December 23, Reid allegedly broke into a house in his community and stole the money.

A report was made and an investigation was launched.

Reid was seen on surveillance footage and was later arrested and charged.

His court date is being arranged.
