Mentally ill man shot and injured at Spanish Town Hospital

The St Catherine North police are probing the shooting and injuring of a mentally ill man by a security guard at the Spanish Town Hospital on Monday night.

Reports state that about 10:30 p.m. both men were at the health facility when the mentally ill man allegedly attacked the guard.

The security guard reportedly took evasive action and the 54-year-old mentally ill man was shot and injured.
