The Jamaica National Group was the title sponsor for the Race for Hope 5K and Kids Fun Run, which was held on January 12 at the Hope Royal Botanical Gardens. This year’s event was geared towards raising funds for preserving the botanical gardens, to include conservation projects managed by Nature Preservation Foundation, managers of Hope Garden, such as garden restoration, educational programmes, and environmental stewardship initiatives. The event saw a registration increase of 36 per cent, with 836 participants.
