Man fatally shot by police in Rollington Town

A man was fatally shot by the police in Rollington Town in Kingston this morning.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Adam Eddie.
The incident occurred about 4:45 a.m. along Lacy Road.
According to the police, an illegal firearm was allegedly recovered from the dead man.
The matter is being probed by the Independent Commission of Investigations
As at January 15, the police were involved in 12 fatal shootings.
Rollington Town falls in the Kingston Eastern Police Division, which imposed a 48-hour curfew on Monday evening.
