Curfew imposed in Christiana, measure extended in Porus and Williamsfield
A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Christiana, Manchester.
The curfew began at 6:00 p.m., on Monday and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
North: East along an imaginary line from Craighead to an area of vegetation in Silent Hill.
East: South along an imaginary line from the northern boundary to an area of vegetation at Silent Hill.
South: Westerly along an imaginary line from the eastern boundary to a section of the main road in Craighead. |
West: Northerly along an imaginary line from the southern and northern boundary (bordered by Troy district, Trelawny).
In the meantime, the 48-hour curfew that was imposed in sections of Williamsfield and Porus in the Manchester division has been extended for another 48-hour. The curfew is now scheduled to end at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
