Loaded assault rifle found buried at St Andrew premises

The St Andrew South police seized an AAC Honey Badger assault rifle with a magazine containing nineteen 5.56 rounds of ammunition during an operation on Crescent Road on Saturday.
Reports are that at about 12:50 p.m., lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched.
During the search, the firearm was found buried at the rear of the premises.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
Investigation continues.
