St James police probing death of British woman at hotel

The police in St James are investigating a suspected case of suicide following the discovery of a British woman’s body hanging from her balcony at the Iberostar hotel on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Jasmine Wint Thorpe of Dorset, England.
She was reportedly found around 6:20 p.m., hanging from a piece of cloth attached to the balcony.
She was taken from the scene to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Montego Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is leading the probe.
