Woman being sought after 70-y-o left hospitalised in knife attack

The police in St Catherine are searching for a woman who stabbed an elderly woman several times in an attack at her home in Innswood, Spanish Town.
The 70-year-old woman remains hospitalised
Reports are that on Thursday, January 30, the senior citizen was at home when the woman, who works with the victim’s family, made a request to which the elderly woman disagreed.
The suspect reportedly became enraged and attacked the elderly woman with a knife, which she used to inflict stabbed wounds to her jaw, back, leg, and shoulders.
The injured woman was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital where she was admitted.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the incident.
