Temporary service adjustments at KPH due to urgent maintenance - SERHA
The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) is reporting that the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) is currently experiencing operational challenges.
The affected areas are Accident & Emergency (A&E), the main operational theatre, the Recovery Room and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The regional authority says contingency measures have been put in place to ensure continuity of patient care.
It says it may become necessary to transfer patients to other nearby healthcare facilities within SERHA for continued care.
SERHA says its operations and maintenance team along with external contractors are actively working to restore normal operations and will provide periodic updates.
“We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to restore optimal service delivery during this challenging time.”
