St Jago's Ryan Achau shatters Gibson McCook Relays 1500m record

St Jago High’s star, Kenyan-born Ryan Achau, extended his dominance this season by setting a new 1500m meet record at the Gibson McCook Relays on Saturday.
Achau clocked a personal best of 3:52.06 at the National Stadium, slicing two seconds off his previous mark.
He pulled away from his closest rival and fellow Kenyan, Peter Njuguna of Kingston College, who finished second in 3:57.58.
Rahiem Walker, also of St Jago, secured third place in 4:06.52.
