April 24 trial for woman charged for issuing threats after death of ‘Thickman’

Dhana Warren, who is charged for allegedly making threats in a video posted on social media following the police killing of reputed don Othneil ‘Thickman’ Lobban, is set to go on trial on April 24.
Warren, 22, of May Pen, Clarendon, is charged with malicious communication.
The trial date was set today when she appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court.
Senior Parish Court Judge Yvette Wentworth-Miller did not entertain an attempt at applying for bail, and Warren was further remanded.
She is being represented by attorney-at-law Rodain Richardson.
Allegations are that on January 23 Warren used a social media post to issue a threat against the police following Lobban's death in an alleged confrontation with cops.
An investigation led police to May Pen, Clarendon, where Warren was arrested.
She was subsequently charged following a question-and-answer session.
She has made several court appearances, during which the court ordered a psychiatric evaluation.
