Man shot in attempted robbery of his car in Portmore

A man has been hospitalised after being shot during an attempted robbery of his motor car in Naggo Head, Portmore, St Catherine, early this morning.
It is reported that about 2:10 the 53-year-old construction worker was on Casinor Lane when he was pounced upon by two hoodlums who attempted to rob him.
He was shot and injured in the process.
The injured man was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital for treatment.
An investigation is being undertaken by the Portmore police.
