53 rounds of ammunition, loaded gun seized in Trench Town

A police team from Specialised Operations on Thursday seized fifty-three 12-gauge cartridges and a loaded gun in Trench Town, St Andrew.
No one was arrested.
Reports are that about 1:30 p.m., lawmen, acting on information, conducted an operation at two separate houses in the community.
The police say the search led to the discovery of a .45 pistol with a magazine affixed containing six .45 cartridges hidden inside a stove and the 12-gauge cartridges hidden in a sofa cushion in the other house.
Investigation continues.
