'Marlon Sniper' killed in Hannah Town, Kingston

The West Kingston police have launched an investigation into the murder of a 47-year-old man in the division on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Marlon Dyer, otherwise called 'Marlon Sniper', of Upper Oxford Street, Kingston 14.
About 3:30 p.m., Dyer was reportedly standing along the roadway in Hannah Town when he was pounced upon by unknown assailants who fired shots, hitting him repeatedly.
Dyer was assisted to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Denham Town Criminal Investigations Branch is conducting the probe of the matter.
