Techa Clarke-Griffiths retains JCSA presidency

Techa Clarke-Griffiths has been returned unopposed as president of the Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA).
She was the organisation's sole nominee for the post on April 16.
The JCSA said in a media release on Friday that "her unopposed return is a testament to her exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the interests of civil servants nationwide."
Clarke-Griffiths has reportedly pledged to foster stronger partnerships with government ministries, departments and agencies; champion fair compensation and professional development for all members; enhance member services through innovative programmes and transparent governance; and advocate for the rights and interests of JCSA members across the public sector.
Clarke-Griffiths became the first female president of the JCSA when she was elected in May 2023.
