Two police constables and a woman shot and injured in downtown Kingston

The police in the Kingston Western division have launched a search for gunmen who shot and injured two members of the police force and a bystander on Saturday morning.
About 3:00 a.m., the two constables were reportedly on patrol in a marked service vehicle along Water Street in Denham Town when they were fired upon.
During the attack, the two constables reportedly suffered injuries to their upper bodies from shotgun pellets.
A 21-year-old female bystander was also injured.
The police reportedly returned the fire, however it is not clear whether anyone was hit.
The injured persons were taken to hospital for treatment.
The Independent Commission of Investigations and the Denham Town Criminal Investigations Branch are probing the matter.
