Man fatally shot by police at bus park in Clarendon

A man was shot and killed by the police while being arrested after he was reportedly seen attempting to break into a car at a bus park in Clarendon.

Reports are that about 2:58 a.m., the police went to the Vere Municipal Bus Park where a man was allegedly observed breaking into a car.

While being accosted, he was shot and injured by the police.

He was assisted to the May Pen Hospital, where he succumbed.

The Independent Commission of Investigations is probing the incident.
