Northern Caribbean University (NCU) President Dr Lincoln Edwards recently led a team of staff and students in establishing a vegetable garden at the Williamsfield Police Station in Manchester. The seedlings of cabbage and pepper were supplied by RADA. The planting of the vegetable garden was one of several environmentally sustainable projects spearheaded by NCU on and off campus on April 3, designated as Go Day. Here (from right), NCU President Dr Lincoln Edwards, ACP Calvin Allen of the Area 3 Police, and Sheldon Smith, regional operations manager of the Southern Parks and Markets, plant seedlings.
