Two firearms and ammunition seized in St Andrew

Two firearms and several rounds of ammunition were seized along Tarrant Drive and Molynes Road in St Andrew on Tuesday.
Reports from the Half-Way-Tree police are that at about 2:33 p.m. and 3:46 p.m., during an operation, a search of a premises was conducted and the lawmen discovered a Ruger Mayodan AR-556 rifle and one Taurus pistol magazine affixed containing four 9mm cartridges.
No arrest was made in connection with the seizure.
Investigation continues.
