11-y-o girl abducted and sexually assaulted in St Catherine

An investigation is under way into the abduction and sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl in St Catherine on Thursday morning.
Reports are that about 1 a.m., the child was abducted from home at knife point and sexually assaulted.
She was subsequently released and related the ordeal to her relatives.
The matter was reported to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA), which is leading the investigation.
