Man dies after crashing into tree in St Thomas
A 64-year-old man on Friday died from injuries sustained after he reportedly lost control of his car and crashed into a tree along the main road in Retreat, St Thomas.
He has been identified as Brian Tromley of Yallahs, St Thomas, and Maine in the United States.
Reports are that about 10:00 p.m., Tomley was driving a Nissan Teana motor car along the roadway when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which ran off the road and slammed into a tree.
Tomley was assisted to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Morant Bay Traffic Department is investigating the incident.
