Powered by an army of volunteers, Digicel Foundation Jamaica led a major Labour Day initiative at Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) and Victoria Jubilee Hospital (VJH) on May 23. Over 70 volunteers from Digicel, EdgeChem Jamaica Limited, Dutch Construction Limited, and Transcendence Holdings Limited combined to give KPH and VJH a welcome facelift. The volunteers repainted key areas and undertook renovation work to enhance the hospital experience for patients and staff. The project formed part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to national development through community upliftment.
