Two men fatally shot by police in Lime Hall, St Ann
Two men were fatally shot early Tuesday morning after allegedly challenging members of a police team in Lime Hall, St Ann.
According to police reports, around 4:18 a.m., cops went to the area as part of an operation.
During the operation, the two men reportedly confronted the police, prompting the officers to take evasive action and open fire.
Both men sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
A .45 pistol with a magazine containing three rounds of ammunition was reportedly seized at the scene.
The Independent Commission of Investigations is probing the incident.
