Conductor charged for knife possession
The Clarendon police have charged a conductor who was seen with a knife at a bus park in the parish on Monday.
Forty-eight-year-old Oneil Wright, of Tamarind Turn, Kingston 13, is charged with being armed with an offensive weapon.
The May Pen Police say about 10 a.m. Monday, Wright was spotted by residents with a knife in his waistband.
A quick response team that was close by was summoned.
The lawmen approached Wright, and he was searched. The police say during the search a knife was retrieved from his waistband.
He was transported to the police station where he was charged.
A court date is being finalised for him.
