Sections of Hanover under curfew

The police have imposed a curfew in sections of Cousin Cove district, Industry Cove and Harding Hall in Hanover.

The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30 and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 1.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

North: From Cousin Cove Bridge to an imaginary line leading to Friendship Square.

East: From Friendship Square along an imaginary line leading to the back of Saxham district.

South: From the back of Saxham district along an imaginary line leading to the Lobster Smoke

House.

West: From the Lobster Smoke House along the highway leading to the Cousin Cove Bridge.

During the curfew, all persons are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
