Body of 68-y-o man found hanging from mango tree in Westmoreland
The police in Westmoreland are investigating the death of a man whose body was found hanging from a mango tree in his yard in Dundee, Breadnut Hill, Darliston.
The deceased has been identified as 68-year-old farmer Cyril Robinson.
The police say the matter is being treated as a suspected case of suicide.
According to the police, the body was discovered around 8 a.m. on Saturday by passers-by, who raised the alarm.
Upon their arrival, cops observed Robinson's body suspended from a mango tree by a piece of rope.
The scene was processed, and the body was removed for a post-mortem examination.
The Savannah-la-Mar Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
