Vendor shot and killed at stall in Ocho Rios

A vendor was gunned down at his stall in the Ocho Rios Market in St Ann on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Alex Hylton of Mammee Bay in the parish.
Reports are that around 8 o’clock, Hylton was selling at his stall in the market when he was pounced upon and shot.
He was assisted to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The police have not yet established a motive for the deadly attack.
Detectives assigned to the Ocho Rios Criminal Investigation Branch are probing the matter.
