Clarendon woman charged for allegedly stabbing and injuring man
The Clarendon police have charged a woman who allegedly stabbed a man during an argument in Coates Pen, May Pen, in the parish on Friday.
She is 36-year-old Vanessa Dixon, a caregiver of Coates Pen.
The May Pen police say about 9:30 a.m., Dixon and a man were involved in a physical altercation during which she used a knife to stab the man in his chest, wounding him.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.
Dixon later turned herself in to the police and gave a caution statement, after which she was subsequently charged.
Her court date is being finalised.
