Over 80 rounds of ammunition seized in Mountain View area

Sleuths assigned to the Specialized Operations Branch on Wednesday seized over 80 assorted rounds of ammunition during an operation on Chaves Avenue in the Mountain View area of St Andrew.
The police report that about 4:35 p.m., lawmen were in the area when a shop was searched.
During the search, thirty-four .357 Magnum, twenty-nine 5.56mm, eleven 12-gauge cartridges, four .380, four 9mm, two 7.62mm, and two .22 cartridges were found in a bag along a fence.
No arrest was made in connection with the seizure.
The investigation continues.
