Driver killed by falling boulder in the Bog Walk Gorge
The Bog Walk police in St Catherine are investigating the tragic death of a motorist who was hit by a falling boulder on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Linton Davis, a 61-year-old labourer, of Greater Portmore, St Catherine.
Reports are that about 1:30 p.m., Davis was driving along the Bog Walk Gorge main road when a boulder fell off the hillside onto his Isuzu motor truck, smashing the top of the vehicle and severely injuring Davis.
He was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
