A man was arrested this morning following the seizure of an assault rifle and a magazine containing ammunition during a police operation at a house in Grants Pen, St Andrew.

The operation was part of a wider initiative conducted by operatives in the St Andrew North Division, aimed at locating illegal firearms and ammunition, as well as apprehending wanted men and persons of interest linked to various crimes.

The police say the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to disrupt criminal networks operating within the division.

As security forces intensify their crackdown, investigators have also renewed their appeal for several men wanted for murder.

Those being sought are Shevon Matthews, otherwise called ‘Max’; Emar Grinham, otherwise called ‘Bully Beef’; Kenroy Willis, otherwise called ‘Papa’; and Tevin Harris, otherwise called ‘Ratty’.

Police are urging the individuals to turn themselves in immediately to the nearest police station.

Members of the public with information on their whereabouts or any criminal activity are being asked to contact the Constant Spring Police Station at 876-924-1421, the police emergency number at 119, or Crime Stop at 311.
