Skin, Body and Mind Institute unveiled

Nine years ago, Dr Arusha Chambers established Dermatology Solutions Skin Clinic and Medi-Spa, in Kingston, moving later to the Second City with her husband, radiologist Dr Duane Chambers.
Last Saturday night, September 27, the woman who was born in St Vincent and the Grenadines, and who, today, calls Jamaica home, entered another milestone in her career when she unveiled Skin, Body and Mind Institute at her offices at the LOJ Complex in Montego Bay.
Arusha Chambers has combined an impressive group of experts to offer an area of expertise not evidenced in the tourism capital.
The team includes nutritionist Dr Joy Callender, Dr AndrÈ Williams, haematologist/oncologist, Dr Charlotte Bedasse, clinical Christian pyschologist, general surgeon, Dr Dwayne Hall, Dawn Lemmonious, who will deal with customer service, entrepreneurship and massage therapy, and Fiona Pottinger, spa trainer, aesthetician, cosmetologist and founder of Fountain's Beauty Academy.
Most important, Dr Chambers has introduced an exclusive procedure that many Jamaican women will clamour for. Dubbed 'Fountain of Youth', this procedure, she says, consists of a number of natural,
non-surgical treatments which are creating waves worldwide in treating hair loss, stretch marks, scars and ageing skin.
"Patients love seeing the treatments shed years off, turning back the hands of time. These treatments have minimal downtime and are safe for all skin types," she told the gathering.
Chambers' husband, radiologist, Dr Duane Chambers, their daughters, Tiffany and Tia, sister-in-law, Dr Debbie-Ann Chambers, principal of the Montego Bay and wife of the city's mayor, Dr Angella Samuels-Harris, Carolyn Fisher, general manager of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce, and pastor Mary Wildish, were among the persons out to support the latest venture.
