MBCCI Awards and Banquet honours tradition
Members of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI), their associates, families and friends, were out in their numbers to celebrate the achievements of the Gloria Henry-led group at its 84th annual awards banquet.
Held at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa in Montego Bay, on Saturday, December 3, under the theme, 'Honouring Tradition, Embracing Innovation', the glitzy affair was also used to recognise veteran journalist and business leader, Lloyd B. Smith, who was inducted to the chamber's business leaders Wall of Fame.
Henry, the president of MBCCI highlighted a raft of achievements by her team for the 2016 calendar year, and gave a commitment that her commercial group, one of the most influential voices on national issues, will increase efforts to ensure that the region "gets its fair share of attention and resources".
